

LAKE LIFE
Belmont Lake is a fresh water lake within Peterborough County / Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario. It is apart of the water system that feeds the Trent Severn Waterway Great Lakes Basin. There are 2 watercourses (rivers) that flow into Belmont and one exiting.
Just 1.5 Hours from the GTA, Belmont Lake is close to amenities, and tons of activities for couples and families.
Belmont Lake is 7.5 KM long (1872 Acres) and has depths up to 50' +. It is located on the southernmost point of the Canadian shield which is why most of the 50 + islands and surroundings are rocky.
The lake has a wide variety of natural fauna, wildlife, and fish species & is managed by the Belmont Lake Cottage Association & the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority.
Belmont has a healthy fish population. Species such as Pike, Muskie, Perch, Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, Sunfish, Crappie, and Pickerel are found in the lake.
